CitySprouts Starts is a new initiative designed to replicate CitySprouts’ successful Cambridge model in other urban schools. CitySprouts’ consulting team offers schools a range of services to either strengthen an existing school garden program or help implement a new program based on the CitySprouts Cambridge model. CitySprouts’ goal in this initiative is to establish the school garden as a resource that engages students in learning, to support teachers in their instruction and to introduce hands-on food and nutrition education as part of children’s school experience.
