What We Do
CitySprouts is a model for school garden programming integrated in public school curriculum. Our program operates in all 12 of the Cambridge Public School elementary/middle schools as well as provides consulting and other support to schools outside of Cambridge.
- Classroom to Garden gives teachers the support they need to extend their classroom lessons into their CitySprouts school garden
- Food Education in school, after school and in the summer provides children with hands-on connection to local food and healthy diet
- CitySprouts Summer Intern Program connects youth to their local food system and builds connections to the urban natural environment
